Trail's End is a family owned and operated business. We have a farming and cow/calf operation while maintaining the wildlife habitat on Trail's End. The girls provide home cooked meals while our lodge affords the hunter comfortable accommodations. The lodge sets on the property so there are no long drives to our hunting spots. Archery Hunt Non-Rut: 10/1 – 10/31 Rut: 11/1 – 12/6 Archery tag is the most difficult to get at this time. You will need 2 preference points to be drawn, but you will have great success when you hunt at Trails End. Non-Rut: $2,100 Rut: $2,500 Shotgun Hunt 1st: 12/7 – 12/11 2nd: 12/14 – 12/22 Shotgun deer hunt will be for 4 days. All hunts will be stand hunts using Summit Tree Stands. Muzzleloaders can be used during shot gun hunting. $3,250 Muzzleloader Hunt 12/23 – 1/10/2014 Key to successful hunt this time of year is the weather, the colder the better. Most hunts are by or near food plots, corn fields, or bean fields. $2,750 Turkey Hunting Hunt 2 States - Get 3 Birds! We have and outstanding habitat of Eastern Turkeys. We have lots of them and with great size and they are hunted very little. Most birds have a size of over 22 lbs. Should not have a problem getting a nice Turkey. Iowa Hunt 4 Seasons: 1st: 4/14 - 4/17 2nd: 4/18 - 4/22 3rd: 4/22 - 4/29 4th: 4/30 - 5/18 4 day hunts. 1 bird with lodging included. Meals and guiding provided for an extra fee. $500 Note: Hunter can stay an extra night after hunt and will be charged an additional rate for room and meal. If credit card is used, an additional 5% fee will be charged. We accept all major credit cards. A 50% deposit is required when booking a hunt.
